Students whose parents and teachers are in contact with each other are far more likely to succeed in school than students who do not.
When your son or daughter knows in her/his heart that you communicate with his/her teacher regularly, s/he stays on top of her/his work.

I post every classroom assignment on this website. If your child is ill, but feeling well enough to do some work, you can download the assignment and not fall behind.
If you want to check on your son or daughters work, you can download the assignment and ask her or him to let you see their completed work.
If you want to know your child's current grade, feel free to e-mail me. I do not post grades on-line because the web-site is open to the public, but I will happily e-mail your child's current grade to you.
One thing I cannot do is tell you if your son or daughter has any missing assignments. I do not collect my students work every day. I demand that they keep ALL of their work and keep it ORGANIZED in their binder. Every once in a while, you can ask your child to bring her/his binder home so you can check it. Take a look at the page "Currently in Your Child's Binder" which I update once each week. You should be able to see all of your child's work in order, in the binder. You can then encourage and help your child complete any missing work, or any incomplete work.
Together, we can help your child be successful in school.
